Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Courses Choose blended or in-class course while booking This comprehensive, one-day course equips participants with essential lifesaving first aid and CPR skills, suitable for both the workplace and home. The course is designed to meet the safety requirements of provincial and territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the most up-to-date first aid and CPR guidelines. Course Duration - CPR A: 6.5 hours in-class OR 3.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning** - CPR C: 7.5 hours in-class OR 4.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning** Instructor RED CROSS Certified First Aid Instructor Completion Requirements - Successful demonstration of all critical skills and steps - Achieve a minimum score of 75% on the written knowledge evaluation - Full attendance and active participation throughout the course Certification Receive a 3-year certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level A or C upon successful completion Recertification - CPR A: 4 hours in-class OR 3 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning** - CPR C: 5 hours in-class OR 4 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning** Note: Recertification may not be available in all jurisdictions. Online learning time may vary depending on the participant.
